Several days ago, someone asked: can we pop in a single instant from normal to super player in the greater game? As those words reached out to me, memories spilled out onto my inner pallet of creation, begging to dance with others. The words below are homage to the journey and an invitation to dance together. I remember the first time that I came home to myself. I was in my early twenties and had just set foot in one of the largest academic libraries in the world. The most exquisite wave of delight suffused my Being and I remember thinking: when I die, I want to be buried here. (smiles) Several years later, I stepped on to my first ever dance floor for conscious dancing. Alters were in place, candle light danced its own rhythm creating sacred space and the Goddess within me whispered “I’m home”. I sank down onto or was it into the floor and surrendered to that moment. Another step was taken into my own Self. And then there was that moment when my eyes rested on and in a man who resonated with the frequencies and vibrations that are mine, my signature and my body of work and suddenly what had been ‘I’ became a “we”. The birth of a possibility of ecstatic partnership occurred in an instant and a knowing came to me that a union that carries this essence is part of my gift to the world. And then there was that moment that someone (Soleira Green) saw me and named me: The Goddess of the Extraordinary, the gatekeeper to the garden of Eden, she who brings creativity and brilliance to everything she touches. As those words were spoken, I felt myself open to the infinite possibilities within and my feet landed firmly on a path that grew ever more ecstatic and exquisite as I claimed a knowing of myself and stepped into the authority of that knowing. I tasted my magic and revelled in it. I heard my song and danced the cosmic dance of Becoming, each cell a microcosm exulting in the ecstatic flow of Life which coursed through it. Reality became fluid and a co-creational act of stupendous majesty and glory. And then there was the next becoming and the next and the next as, drunk on the beauty of me and us and we, I opened and opened and opened some more. And then there comes that moment when the deep eternal space within calls, the Nothing from which All comes forth. And each and every cell of you knows that if you Surrender to this, you will dissolve with no imagining of the next Becoming. And you jump, one tender step at a time. And then come those moments, moments of profound sadness and anguished tears and you stand before and within that stream of emotion and you ask: can I step into this? pen to this? Surrender to this and allow this to be a source of Becoming? And you open and open and open some more until the “I” disappears and Life lives through you, sings you, dances you, writes you, exults in the vastness of the canvas that is YOU. Each and every moment becomes a moment of birth and becoming as you die to yourself and are reborn, through the in-breath and the out-breath. Through the exquisite ecstatic surrender that is a constant invitation from Life. Do you want to dance?
